IRONIK BAGS THREE AS FREELAND FIGHT BACK??p>
Freeland 6 - 1 Yarnton Res??p>
A Freeland side having not played for a number of weeks welcomed Yarnton Reserves to the Simon Hole Memorial Ground, packed to the rafters with another chapter in this exciting conclusion to the season.??p>
Freeland started brightly with Jefferson Harriott hitting the woodwork within the first five minutes. There was no final effective ball and so Yarnton were able to soak up the pressure and the more the game went on, the stronger the away side got. Yarnton then took the lead when John Webb beat a couple of players and scored a good individual goal on thirty minutes.??p> Freeland hit back though and won a penalty on forty minutes, the ice cold Jefferson Harriott stepped up and coolly slotted the spot kick home to draw the sides level. This setteled Freeland down and they started to play the good football that everyone knows they can, but the score remained deadlocked at half time.??p>
After the break, Freeland came out with added purpose and a belief in their play. After some good work a second goal came from Neil Howe on fifty minutes, he tapped in from close range when the Yarnton Keeper spilled the ball from a cross for a goal he fully deserved. Fifteen minutes later and Freeland had a two goal cushion, Richard Trigg heading home Freelands third from a pinpoint cross for the versatile midfielders first goal of the season.??p>
Freeland were now able to control the game and after a good passing move on seventy minutes Jefferson Harriott glided past two players to slot home his second and Freelands fourth. On seventy-five minutes Freeland made an inspired substitution with Craig Simpson coming on and scoring almost immediately from a twenty-five yard free kick. The game was rounded off with Jefferson Harriott getting his hatrick on eighty minutes. He was allowed room to fire home from close range.??p>
