Freeland scraped through against a Wychwood team who look far too good for their league position. On a sunny afternoon Freeland started brightly when Adam Longford bent in a wonderful free kick from thirty yards. The right back had an exciting cameo in this game, rattling the bar moments after with a feroucious shot from even further out and then getting himself injured (AGAIN) and having to go off.

After Longfords departure Freeland became scrappy, and struggled against Wychwood, they were saved a number of times by Lee Tomas and Robert Panting, who were in imperious form at the back.

Tomas made a dramatic goal line clearance midway through the second half to keep Freeland in the lead, and soon after the returning Stuart McNaughton got himself a deserved goal, finishing off a superb team goal involving Holden, Hardy and Stanley.

Freeland did not capitalise and Wychwood continued to press, the final whistle blew eventually and Freeland had grabbed a lucky but vital three points.
