TRIPLE J??p>
Horspath Reserves 0 - 3 Freeland??p>
The man that is so good they named him twice bagged himself a hat trick as Freeland got themselves back to winning ways in blustery Horspath. After a disappointing result in their last league game, and a few departures during the January transfer window, Freeland needed a response, and they got one.??p> Lining up against a strong Horspath Reserve side (with a number of first team players in the line up) Freeland gained the upper hand, and in the twenty-first minute Jay The Prophet Harriott ran onto a glorious through ball, and coolly slotted past the oncoming keeper.??p>
Freeland, being Freeland, made hard work of it all though, and had to defend a number of Horspath counter attacks, but Jamie Perkin stayed alert throughout. January signing Richard Mace (we could not afford Kaka) was solid at the back, and he even picked himself up a yellow card on his debut for the mighty red and blacks. The Prophets goal proved to be the only goal of the half.??p>
After the break, Freeland started well but Horspath defended effectively and the visitors could not find a way through. That was until that man JJ got his second of the match in the sixty-fifth minute after a great cross by Italian international Chris Palmer, who had come on in the second half and impressed with his link up play with the Freeland forwards.??p>
Horspath had to defend for much of the rest of the game and the pressure from Freeland resulted in a penalty being awarded late on with a clinical foul in the box on Aussie bound Dan Taylor. JJ Harriott stepped up and calmly slotted home for his hat trick and Freeland had wrapped up a comfortable 3-0 win.??p>
