Freeland 3 - 1 Horspath Res??p>
A reshuffled Freeland side having a large number of forced changes to the team due to injuries welcomed Horspath Reserves to The Simon Hole Memorial Ground. The Team struggled to convert a number of chances as we tried to keep the ball for too long and kept getting caught offside. ??p>
Horspath stuck to their task and defended well. The deadlock was broken on twenty-five minutes when a Gary Brooks corner was powerfully headed home by Bradley Woodbridge in his first game for the mighty red and black first team. ??p>
The score remained 1-0 to half time. ??p>
After the break, Freeland started better and another goal came on fifty minutes with Danny Taylor turning away from defenders in the box and slotting home. We were not a cohesive team on the day but from the best move in the game, JJ Harriott got in front of his defender, turning a precision cross from Danny Taylor into the far corner. ??p>
We lifted their foot off the gas and this allowed Horspath to get a consolation goal 15 minutes from time in a good move finished off by Cullen. ??p>
Another three points when we were playing below the standard reached over the lae last couple of weeks was welcome, and just to make things even better, we went top on goal difference! ??p>
